Job Description Account Executive
For an international organization who trades in office supplies we are looking for an Account Executive who leads projects related to the production and localisation of print campaigns, circulars, catalogues and marketing communications material within the account group and carefully monitors the execution, progress and completion of projects.
Account
- Works with clients to understand the needs of each local market business unit and captures scope as to campaign and/or deliverable needs, content to be used, number of pages, copies to be printed and variations for customer segments.
- Works with the project planner to ensure proper planning of resource for production: Design, DTP, proofreading, Printing
- Creates task orders for in-house department or assigns work to external DTP vendors
- Reports status and keeps the client abreast of all status, issues and progress
- Reviews and understands the content of each campaign toolkit, to understand the aims and deliverables of any given campaign
- Responsible for drafting internal assignments, memos, placement instructions
- Ensures the drafting, copying and archiving of internal and external correspondence, the preparation for meetings, the booking of rooms, presentations and gatherings.
- Maintains contact with a variety of stakeholders at project level both internal to the agency and in other departments
Project control and management
- Ensures the timely, high quality and efficient execution and completion of projects
- Monitors detailed timetables and budgets for each project - working closely with the internal project planner
- Informs and contributes during the account meetings on all relevant issues
- Recognises the consequences of changes and communicates these internally and externally in the right way
- Works in accordance with the process agreements made
Our favorite candidate 'Account Executive'
We are looking for an Account Executive with the following capabilities:
- At least HBO [higher vocational education] level of working and thinking
- At least 1 year experience in a similar position at Agency or Client-side environment
- Affinity with Retail (print) and Digital (online) Marketing Communications - both B2B and B2C
- Familiarity and affinity with office supplies
- Fluent written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage
