Job Description Social Media Specialist
For an international organization who trades in office supplies we are looking for a Social Media Specialist.
As social media specialist you will support driving compelling narratives and campaigns across all of the company's social media channels in Europe. In this position you will work closely with marketing, channels and local teams. The position is based in Amsterdam and reports to the European social media manager.
In this position you are responsible for driving social media campaigns for European markets in line with strategy to drive engagement and ultimately sales.
Your other responsibilities:
- Create impactful content including posts, visuals, and video that engages the audience and tells company story.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include managing content calendar, monitoring community managers, coordinating projects and content production with social media agencies, facilitating the resolution of customer inquiries/complaints with customer service, etc.
- Work closely with content marketing, SEO and category management on events and campaigns. Collaborate cross functionally to surface other content for social distribution.
- Support to identify, interpret and capitalize upon social media trends.
- Track and report results of social media posts and campaigns on a weekly base, and apply learnings to future work.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, based on the business need.

- Bachelor's degree or above and minimum 2/3 years relevant experience
- Solution oriented, flexible, self-driving and have the ability to change course quickly
- Proven track record of transforming business needs into social communications and content in a fast paced
- Team player with a dynamic, outgoing personality; strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential;
- Experience in creating social media content and manage interactions
- Works well with others with the ability to show commitment and to motivate and inspire others
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Hands-on mentality, with positive can and will do attitude
- A love of social media. Passionate about creating content and cultivating fan engagement and growth;
