Job Description Assistant Product Manager Merchandising
For an international organization who trades in office supplies, we are looking for an Assistant Product Manager Merchandising who supports the Product Manager within the Merchandising department.
The Assistant Product Manager Merchandising is mainly responsible for maintaining commercial products in line with category plans and brand strategies. The main focus will be with paper type products as sticky notes, notebooks and paper. The Assistant Product Manager Merchandising will handle targeted customer needs in term of quality, price, costs, and packaging briefs. Packaging briefs means you give an order to ensure the correct amount of paper. Important in this position is that you assist the Product manager in monitoring the deals with the suppliers. You will also provide input to internal stakeholders in the manufacturer selection process regarding pricing, contract, startup, pilot, and processes. In addition, you ensure that both the business units and the company itself are aware of all developments.
We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Product Manager Merchandising with a hands-on mentality and who is available for 24 hours per week and a minimum of 3 months.
