Job Description Communications specialist
For the Internal Communications department of an international organization who deals in office supplies, we are currently looking for a cummunications specialist for a project till end of the year.
The cummunications specialist is responsible for working closely with the business to increase employee engagement levels and mindshare. You will draft and deliver content through video, print, and online communications.
Your main focus as communication specialist is working on the company-wide e-newsletter and assist on IT, HR and intranet major projects increating content which reflect the company-wide organisation. You also will be working on the intranet project: development of new company intranet adheres to communication objectives.
The main tasks for the communication specialists:
- Copy writer. Draft and deliver engaging content in English scripts for videos, talking points, newsletter articles, powerpoint packages, FAQs to educate employees and posts to encourage valuable conversations)
- Be the communication liaison in the development of several key projects
- Create graphics and content for eNewsletter and other digital vehicles
- Be the communication liaison in the development of the company intranet
- Provide hands-on strategic communications for key projects, and at times ad-hoc business needs (advice on and deliver communication strategy / plans for the projects)
- Drive traffic to intranet and ensure content quality control
- Support in the delivery of content and drive the logistics of key meetings
- Safeguard the company brand (verbal and visual identity) internally
The position is fulltime for the period of approximately 4 months.

- You have an affinity with graphic design - InDesign and Photoshop a plus
- You have 2-5 years work experience in internal communication
- You can work on multiple projects at once with staggered deadlines, which you are able to identify, articulate and connect the key themes.
- You are highly attentive to details
- You have experience in using metrics for continuous improvement
- You can think out of the box - and hungry to find new ways to communicate
- You are passionate about simplifying complex ideas into clear (visual) concepts for a variety of associate groups
- You can take initiative to track down answers to questions and issues
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken
- You are available preferably for a minimum of 6 months
- Experience with on-the-gird and off-the-grid employee communications is a plus
