Job Description Media Video On Demand operator
For an international media organization which manufactures and distributes over 80 channels around the globe, we are looking for a Media Video On Demand Operator.
In this position your purpose is to process and quality check all delivered digital content and make sure it is ready for transmission for linear broadcasting and/or ready for Video On Demand services.
Main responsibilities:
- Transcoding of media files;
- Syncin Subtitles;
- (Technically) Quality checking files;
- End-to-end technical assistance on solutions;
- Work with other work streams on lists of activities and solutions;
- Document technical solutions and proposals;
- Participate in the deployment of technical solutions;
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing.

Job requirements:
- Starting experience in a technical roll within the media and broadcast industry/media management;
- preferred in respect of VOD and Media systems, automated workflow administration, roles and responsibilities of users, ingest of files based delivery for Video, Audio, subtitles, voice overs, graphics and metadata and Post Production;
- Strong communication skills;
- Problem solving ability;
- Creative thinking;
- Team work and collaboration skills;
- Resilient to working under pressure;
- No 9-5 mentality;
- Being able to communicate in English on business level.
