Job Description Playout Media Operator

For our client, a large international media company which manufactures and distributes over 50 channels worldwide, we are looking for a Playout Media Operator. Our ideal candidate is responsible for loading, checking and maintaining the broadcast schedules. You"ll monitor all channel components and make sure the audio track is correct, the subtitles are in the right language and the video doesn"t freeze.

As Playout Media Operator you"ll work in three differents shifts. The morning shift is from 7 am till 3 pm, the evening shift is from 3 pm till 11 pm and the night shift is from 11 pm till 7 am. Of course you"ll receive a bonus for working unsocial hours during the evening and night shifts.

We are looking for a Playout Media Operator with the following capabilities:

You completed a bachelor study in the field of media;
You must be willing to work day, evening and night shifts;
You are fluent in English both written and spoken;
You must understand the fundamental principles of broadcasting;
You have a good understanding of all the processes and workflows within the operational broadcast environment;
IT literate and proficient in MS Office suite;
