Over de functie van Program Manager Corporate Responsibility

For an international organization who trades in office supplies, we are looking for a Program Manager Corporate Responsibility for the Merchandising department.    

The Program Manager Corporate Responsibility is responsible for the ongoing design, development, management, support, logistics and execution of the organization. Based on their values and diverse and inclusive culture there are six key focus areas for this role:

  • Support European Leadership on the integration of CR;
  • Commercial focus and support to drive sales;
  • Legislation compliance;
  • Internal Awareness;
  • National engagement throughout international operations;
  • Measurement and tracking.


We are looking for a creative professional with a hands-on mentality and a personal drive and passion towards corporate responsibility. In this role, you will be responsible for one of the organizations major programs called 'Easy on the Planet' and you will be seen as the expert in corporate responsibility, driving the commercial growth of the organization.
As Program Manager, you have an autonomous position in the organization and you will be working closely together with top-level professionals with wide-ranging backgrounds, nationalities, and competencies. You will be working in an organization where your voice is heard, your skills appreciated and your learning supported. You are located in Amsterdam and report to the Head of Merchandising.

Your activities will include, but not be restricted  to the following:

Commercial focus

  • Create and maintain a Trusted Advisor training program to allow Sales position CR at the heart of the company;
  • Coordinate webshop features to highlight key CR products and services in a simple/innovative way.


Coordinating internal activities and awareness raising

  • Integrate CR into sales driving processes. Implement CR training resources to the position of the company as a Trusted Advisor;
  • Support the Head of Merchandising on identification and collection of appropriate CR information and communicate across various internal outlets.


Product Legislation (and Easy on the Planet)

  • Key EU point of contact for Product Legislation;
  • Implement processes to proactively minimize legal and reputational risk to the business relating to non-compliance;
  • Identify  and utilize effective merchandising communication framework to monitor legislative developments and educate associates;
  • Coordinate the management and maintenance of Easy on the Planet product portfolio and our external positioning;
  • Ensure data systems and web applications are aligned with customer/legislative demands.


Community engagement programs

  • Design, propose, network and implement a diverse array of community programs to promote the culture of the company and stimulate their aspirations of giving back, brand awareness and business growth;
  • Develop web tools to assist national and pan-European implementation of Community programs if /when relevant programs are put into effect;
  • Respond to funding requests from non-profits organizations;
  • Design & develop customer-facing community engagement to drive sales.


Tracking and reporting

  • Identify key reporting contacts per country and train local contacts on both data collection as well as theCredit360 software application;
  • Provide & own appropriate information for the company & external reporting and website updates.

 

Onze ideale 'Program Manager Corporate Responsibility'

Your profile

You are a professional with a minimum of 10 years of work experience within an international products & services organization. You preferably hold a University degree in business, environment, sustainability, community relations or corporate social responsibility.

You have a proven track record in corporate responsibility and an extensive knowledge of corporate responsibility industry practices and standards. You know your way around within a matrix organization. For this role, you must have excellent desktop research and report writing skills and a proven ability to communicate at all levels, including senior and executive level. You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Furthermore, you are hands-on, creative, able to work independently and you are able to multi-task and manage full-scale departmental programs simultaneously to meet CR objectives.
