Job Description Supply Planner Print (Dutch)
For an international organization who trades in office supplies, we are looking for a Supply Planner Print for the Supply Chain Print department.
The Supply Planner Print is mainly responsible for maintaining inventory to the agreed level in order to deliver all stocked items to customers on time and in full. The role of the Supply Planner Print will be to make sure that the setup of the stock keeping units and the vendors are well in sync and allow reaching the objectives of inventory and purchases per vendor. As a Supply Planner Print you will be supported by the inputs coming from the Inventory Analyst, who will provide insights on results and will be able to highlight potential issues in the actual set up. This position is located at the Dutch headquarters and therefor it is important that the candidate masters the Dutch and English language.
The main responsibilities of the Supply Planner Print are:
- Use customer demand plan as an input for the supply execution;
- Provide input when the demand plan will be built;
- Create and manage purchase orders in the replenishment systems and in the ERP system on a day to day base;
- Ensure the day to day follow up with the vendors‘ deliveries and create vendor performance reports;
- Provide the customer with a stock report for their specific assortment on a periodic basis;
- Contact the customer for approval before placing a purchase order if so specified in the customer contract;

We are looking for a Supply Planner Print with the following capabilities:
- Fluent in Dutch and English;
- Bachelor‘s Degree;
- At least 2 years experience in a purchasing position;
- Good knowledge of the inbound Supply Chain;
- Able to organize your work in a consistent and disciplined way;
- Able to manage several different information at the same time and organize a reasoning around it;
- Chasing capabilities, good negotiations skills, able to challenge and push vendor to deliver quicker;
- Good understanding of the effect of the purchasing department on the rest of the company (end to end view of the process).
