Job Description Front end developer
For the further development of a platform for academics we are looking for a front end developer who makes sure that the customers enter a site that is looking smart, works fast and is reliable. Working for our client means freedom, independency and taking responsibility within a international team of people.

Our client offers an open access platform on wich academic knowledge can be found and shared. Academics can connect with other academics and their work can be reviewed and published. It is our clients goal to make knowledge accesible to everyone in an easy and modern way.
Our ideal 'Front end developer'
The skills;
- Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS with an appreciation for web standards and accessibility
- Good experience with popular JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
- Very comfortable working with Django's templating language
- Experience with cross-browser incompatibilities
- A working familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
- Consider the user experience from start to finish
- Keep up with the latest developments in web-related technologies
- Interest in making data interesting and understandable
- You are fluent in English and Dutch, both verbal and written
Our client works with SVN, continuous integration (Jenkins), Linux (Ubuntu). Familiarity with these tools would be a big advantage. This is a fulltime position, 4 days is negotiable.
