Job Description Media Video on Demand Operator
For an international media organization which manufactures and distributes over 80 channels around the globe, we are looking for a Media Video On Demand Operator. The organisation has 27 nationalities working together under one roof since 1999 and therefor they have developed a unique culture. They have become experts at finding solutions to the complex problems that you only find with international media.
In this position your purpose is to process and quality check all delivered digital content (this includes adult content) and make sure it is ready for transmission for linear broadcasting and/or ready for Video On Demand services.
Main responsibilities:
- Sourcing, trans-coding, quality checking, scheduling and exporting content according to requested specifications and defined workflows;
- Data entry of all content in the Channel Management Systems;
- Creating and maintaining new and existing process documentation and user guides;
- Creating reports for both internal and external stakeholders;
- Client, stakeholder and supply chain management.

Our Ideal Candidate:
- Is able to work accurately with an eye for detail;
- Is able to prioritize own workload;
- Is Analytical and has a problem-solving attitude;
- Is fluent in English (both written and spoken);
- Has a good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications;
- Has a commercial attitude;
- Has 1-3 years experience in an audiovisual company (pré);
- Has media encoding/ transcoding, video and audio codec software knowledge/ experience/ background.
