Job Description Executive Assistant
For an international media company we are looking urgently for an Executive Assistant who is fulltime available for a period of 6 months.
In this position you will assist the programming deparment. The Executive Assistant provides a consistent level of high quality support to the Managing Director. In this position you provide hands on support to the MD for both long- term projects and day to day activities ensuring the smooth running of the MD's responsibilities.
Tasks:
Key accountabilities are the most important, current duties and responsibilities for the job.
- Operate effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- To provide a consistently high level of quality executive assistant support to the MD:
- Arranging and ad-hoc rescheduling of meetings, appointments and telephone conference calls
- Making international travel arrangements and responsible for all travel administration from MD
- Dealing with telephone calls and helping out as necessary, as appropriate provide telephone screening
- Create high quality PowerPoint presentations
- General EA and administrative duties, e.g. filing, expense processing, Oracle etc.
- To act as the contact person for the MD in the Schiphol-Rijk office, dealing with clients, employees and external customers on a global level.
- Preparation of reports. Manage and co-ordinate activities, conferences, meetings, etc

Education
Knowledge & Experience:
- The ideal candidate will be very flexible, dynamic, energetic, creative and have demonstrable experience working in an executive assistant capacity.
- Must possess a flexible attitude towards the role with a high level of personal adaptability.
- Proactive thinker who can anticipate the MDs requirements.
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate requirements according to the situation
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Experienced in organizing complex international travel arrangements, creating comprehensive travel itineraries and anticipating the needs of the MD whilst travelling.
- Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
- Willing to work as part of a team but equally comfortable working independently
- Highly motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks.
- Ability to multi-task; managing numerous requests and task in an accurate and timely manner.
- High level of attention to detail Level-headed and able to prioritize and work under pressure
- Resilient and flexible to adapt to changing situations and circumstances
- Ability to deal professionally with confidential information.
- Experience in an international high pace working environment
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent English language skills
- Knowledge of the Dutch language and any other European languages would be advantageous.
- Excellent MS computing skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Able to minute meetings as required
