Over de functie van Reservations and Sales assistent Schiphol Airport

For a successful Asian Airline we are looking for a full time sales and reservations assistant.

As a reservation and sales assistant you are responsible for processing and monitoring the booking for the flights. You will convert requests to bookings, follow the progress of the applications and you are committed to increasing the customer satisfaction. You will do this by continuously monitoring the booking process of the airline and by looking for improvements to the overall service level.

To summarize, you are committed to make the booking process user-friendly and therefore more efficient and to increase the number of bookings in order to create a fixed customer base.

The position is a full-time possition and you will be screened in advance.

Your responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and handle emails with questions;
Make quotations for sales inquiries, accepting bookings, offering flight options & other customer requests;
Create bookings in the Air Cargo system and set periodic pre-bookings;
Maintain communication with the Sales & Traffic team;
Support the Sales Manager in all other Sales & Marketing activities.

Onze ideale 'Reservations and Sales assistent Schiphol Airport'

Vocational education completed (at least in possession of an MBO diploma);
Know-how of the programs Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You are administratively laid out;
To have a good understanding of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written (commanding French and Korean is an advantage);
Knowledge about high-quality service and being experienced in hospitality (or similar experience);
A solution-oriented mindset and an organized approach;
You have to be able to reach Schiphol Airport in an hour and have to be a citizen of the Netherlands for 8 consecutive years due the screening. The airline does not support any application for a work permit.
