For De Correspondent, a journalistic platform based in Amsterdam, we are looking for an employee IT support.
In the position of employee IT support, you are the contact person for all colleagues. You will help and support in all kinds of IT areas. You will answer colleagues' questions about software and hardware and you will guide new colleagues through the technical onboarding. The IT support employee is part of the development team that consists of 9 developers. You will work for colleagues throughout the organization.
As an IT support employee, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support audiovisual resources during meetings;
- Answer first line questions regarding technical problems with laptops, software, etc.;
- Installing new laptops for new colleagues;
- Cleaning up/arranging the stockroom tech desk;
- Checking if laptops are up-to-date;
- Onboarding new colleagues and freelancers;
- Saving Mac Minis in the office and providing it with the latest updates.
You will temporarily support The Correspondent due to a temporarily absent of a colleague. This position is expected to be needed for the next 2 months for 16 hours per week. Workdays are on Mondays and Thursdays. Working hours are between office hours.
